KOREA JAPAN Exchange Exhibition 2016

Very happy to organize with my friend, Kang HwaSu, an exhibition of ceramic artists from Mashiko, Japan & Icheon, Korea at Cerapia -World Ceramic Center, the largest ceramic museum in Korea.
Fifteen artists from Mashiko traveled to Icheon and had fantastic time with our fabulous hosts. We were all truly impressed and equally grateful for all of their hospitality. Many friendships were made and we look forward to hosting the Koreans in Mashiko in 2018.

韓国利川セラピア世界陶磁センター美術館

益子から20名の作家が出展し、15名が訪韓しました。

オープニングレセプションでは利川市長から歓迎の挨拶をうけ、市長を交えての食事会では、焼き肉を食べながら酒を酌み交わし、歌を歌い、笑いあり、涙ありの非常に楽しい時間を過ごしました。

韓国では利川の陶芸家たちの家に滞在させていただき、毎日の心温まるもてなしに一同が本当に感動しました。

韓国の皆さんとの交流、友情を深められただけでなく、益子の仲間たちとの絆も深めてくれた、この有意義な時間を与えてくれた韓国の皆さんに心から感謝しています。

Nami Island International Ceramic Festival 2016

Happy to be invited back to Nami Island, Korea.
This will be my 4th time to exhibit & to participate in the workshop.
Nami has been a great source of inspiration, meeting good friends in clay.

こちらのバー、私たちの一番のお気に入り、というくらい素敵。雰囲気も食べ物ももちろんお酒もどれをとってもおすすめ、心満たされる空間です。
douglasの水玉宇宙の中で、心地よい時間を過ごしていただけるとうれしいです。
